Dunbar is referring to actual, physical, real life relationships and whilst he refers to Facebook he isn’t commenting literary about online Social Networking. So whilst his 150 people limit probably does apply to the real world it is of little relevance when you consider it in terms of the internet’s ability to reach and market to thousands of individuals. Given that power why would you seek to limit your own reach to a mere 150?
